Ghost.org offers several pricing plans:

• Starter: $9 USD per month (billed yearly) for up to 500 members and 1 staff user.

Ghost.org supports payments from members via Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Additional payment methods can be enabled in Ghost → Settings → Labs. This allows control over which payment methods members can use from within the Stripe Dashboard.

Different payment methods are popular in different parts of the world. For example, in the US, it's common to pay for things online with a credit card. In The Netherlands, people prefer iDEAL, a payment system that connects directly to their bank account. In China, AliPay and WeChat Pay are much more popular payment methods.

To set up payment methods in Stripe, visit the payment methods settings in the Stripe dashboard. On this screen, payment methods which are compatible with Ghost can be enabled and will automatically start working on the site. Payment methods which are not compatible with Ghost are marked as Blocked.

Some payment methods are limited to subscriptions in specific currencies. For example: If iDEAL is enabled, it will only show up on the site if the premium tier is being offered in EUR.

Ghost is not able to support payment methods that don't support recurring payments, such as Bank Transfers, PayNow, Swish, and Crypto Currencies.

When using iDEAL with recurring payments, Stripe processes the payments via SEPA. The "Recurring payments" toggle is disabled if premiums tiers are not EUR.
